Neil Jones, a 25-year veteran in quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE) management, as well as engineering and technology, has joined Ventoco as a senior associate. Ventoco, a project-based management consultancy, works with companies that are driving the renewable energy transition.

Jones has extensive expertise across the full value chain of the wind energy and automotive industries. Most recently, he was the senior vice president of global QHSE at Aarhus, Denmark-based Vestas Wind Systems, a world leader in sustainable energy. Prior to that he was the global quality director at Eaton Automotive Group and held diverse leadership roles in quality, engineering and technology within ZF (formerly TRW Automotive).

The QHSE expert has a proven record of identifying and reducing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) through targeted assessment, introduction of continuous improvement initiatives and culture shifts / organizational redesigns. He also has developed multiple programs that created behavior-based safety cultures within organizations. He also is a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Jones holds a BSc with first-class honors in engineering, encompassing electrical, mechanical and fluid dynamics, form the University of Bath, England. He’s also completed executive-level courses at multiple universities in England and the USA in areas such as functional leadership, advanced traffic management and vehicle control systems, strategy development, product development and finance.
